A Love Letter to Myself

This morning as I started to write my message, I somehow began writing to myself. After rereading it, I was a little aprehensive about sharing it but realized that I may not be the only one who needs to read my love letter to myself. So read and carry the words with you this morning.

Good morning Daniella,
You need to know that you are God's most precious gift on this earth. You have been sent here for a special purpose, a mission that God has given only you because of the special gifts and abilities He has placed in your heart. Not everyone will value God's special gift as He does and you must remember that when you are looking for someone to express to you what only God can. I know you have so much love to give and want so badly to have a family of your own. Every year that goes by you continue to grow and work on improving yourself through understanding God more. Funny, the more time you spend with God the more you have learned about yourself and the more you fall deeply in love with the woman He is molding you to become.

Here is a promise that you must make to yourself...
You will not lose yourself in other's dreams or plans for you.
You will follow your heart always as God has given women the gift of intuition.
You will continue to love on yourself and date yourself.
You will let go and let God work through every aspect of your life.

This morning I have come to tell you that I love you and no one will ever love you like I do. Whenever you forget or lose your way, just read my letters to you and remember that in looking for the love you want, you will find yourself.

Thank you for my Peeps!

Good morning Friends!
Fall has arrived and we are now well into the holiday season! Last month for the first time I hosted a gathering for my family and friends in my new town. It was something that I had been wanted to do but just didn't have the time because I was never home or didn't thing anyone would want to drive 45 minutes outside the city to spend the day with me. I know that sounds silly, and really it is because all I needed to do was ask and they came. It was a wonderful day at the apple orchard and dinner later at my house. The strange thing is that it has seemed more like a home when I arrive home and open the door. Is there anyone standing on the other side waiting to greet me with a warm hug and kiss...no, but I feel like it's a home now and not just a place where a single woman keeps her clothes and shoes that are part of her chic wardrobe. It is a place of comfort and refuge for me and a place I can share with those close to my heart.

I've even spent more time on the weekends at home in my own space rather than running down to the city for my fun and entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm a city girl but often I just want to be close to my family and friends without needing to pack up before heading out. So with that being said, I hope everyone enjoys Thanksgiving with family and friends and give someone an extra squeeze when you hug them this week!
